- 7 Days To Die has a wide variety of Graphics settings and can be run on most machines. The only thing that might cause problems is the (crappy) Intel Onboard Graphics chip, but I've looked at some benchmarks and it should run fine as far as I can tell.

7 Days to Die is an open-world game that is a unique combination of first person shooter, survival horror, tower defense, and role-playing games. Play the definitive zombie survival sandbox RPG that came first. Navezgane awaits!
Steam Description7 Days to Die is a survival horror game, with single and multiplayer and the best part… all the damn zombies. I’ve been playing this game off and on for years and have over 300 hours logged into steam. The game is still in Alpha and is on Alpha Build 19. Will it ever be out of Alpha, no one knows. With 4 or 5 pre generated maps and the ability to have a randomly generated map if you so choose, there are many options for new ways to play and locations to search.
So let’s talk about the game. You spawn into a random location with very little on your person and have survive. You need to punch wood, gather materials and not being eaten by zombies is a pretty big priority. You make clothes, weapons, loot and scavenge your way to safety. Not that there is any real safety in this game, because every 7 days is a blood moon and a zombie hoard is sniffing out your tasty flesh. If you are unprepared then they will be having you for dinner.
I spawn in and work on the starter quests. They tell you how to make a bedroll (where you spawn when you die), basic clothes, weapons and how to build. Finding the first building, clearing it out and trying to close up the holes is a first priority. I typically don’t stay there, I will venture out for what I consider to be a better base. Someplace with thick walls, maybe a fence around it of some sort, any kind of extra protection. On top of all of that you have to worry about your food and water. Being to hold and cold is also a thing, along with dysentery. So you have your own challenges before the zombies show up.
You also have several types of zombies. Big and small. Some run, some jump, some throw up on you, some scream and summon others, there are ones that always run, dogs, vultures and bears. Also wildlife, bears, boars, rattle snakes, and cougars. Those will all try to kill you. Rabbits, chickens, deer are all great food if you can catch them. Good luck with that! You can also find fruits and veggies growing and can create your own farm.
The game is extensive and very hard to put everything you’d need to know in one review. I will say the game isn’t without it’s glitches and problems but even with all of that I still love playing. I play with my friends, we have a blast, fortify against hoards and are trying to survive a whole 365 days.
7 Days to Die is a great game for me, zombies, survival, building, resource management. All the things I enjoy. I will stop playing it for stints but I always come back and start over, specially when they have a new Alpha build to play with.
Do you play 7D2D? Are you interested in trying? Let me know! Maybe we can play sometime!
